MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee City Conference wrestling tournament will emanate from Milwaukee Riverside High School for the first time in close to 20 years Saturday afternoon.
The preliminary matches start in the morning and Preps On The Net will be the place to catch the championship matches of each of the 13 weight classes that should start close to 3 p.m. Here’s the event-page link.
Milwaukee Bradley Tech is considered the strongest wrestling program in the City and has four wrestlers ranked in the latest Wisconsin Wrestling Online individual rankings.
Senior Ezeikal Torres (103 pounds), junior Ferriez Johnson (112 pounds), freshman Travis Smith (130 pounds) and senior Brandin Thomas (135 pounds) are all receiving an honorable mention vote in their respective weight class heading into tomorrow’s tournament.
The wrestler to watch, though might be Milwaukee Custer senior Davian Williams who is ranked No. 2 in the Wisconsin Wrestling Online’s 171-pound weight class.
